Amakohia Agog As Barr Araraume Commissions Market
The sub-urban community of Amakohia-Uratta went wild with jubilation as the sAmakohia-Uratta Market built by the state government at no cost to the community was commissioned by Commissioner Ifeanyi Araraume on behalf of the state government.
Speaking on behalf of the community, Comr Christopher Opara, the President General/GLO said the community now calls the governor "Omeiheukwu anaghi ego 1 of Amakohia Uratta" for his magnanimity in building the market at no cost to their community, the gigantic flyover nearing completion, ongoing dualisation of Amakohia/Orlu Road amidst other project making their community "one of the best satellite towns in Nigeria".
Speaking on behalf of the state government at the ceremony, Barr Ifeanyi Araraume, Commissioner of IGR & Pension Affairs said the state government has a road-map to develop the markets across the state to a modern standard and the Amakohia market is a just a sample of what the government intends to do. He called on the traders to ensure the neatness and security of the market.
