Delta APC Crisis: I AM STILL ON CEASE~FIRE SAYS FRED LATIMORE.

...AS EMERHOR HOSTS  HIS CAUCUS LEADERS AND CHIEFTAINS TO A PRE-ABUJA MEETING.

I am still on CEASE-FIRE till November 1, 2016. Therefore this post is not another attack on the SUPREME LIFE LEADER OF DELTA APC, Olorogun Otega Emerhor, the Standard Alliance Group turn-around expert.

Yes, as expected the leaders and chieftains of his caucus assembled at his Warri home to strategize and develop a blueprint and line of argument to be exhibited next Tuesday during the proposed all stakeholders meeting in Abuja to be presided over by party National Chairman, Chief Odigie OYEGUN.

The photos posted by Olorogun Otega media aides did not capture leaders of the other political parties that defected to the APC Delta recently.  For me, it reveals that Olorogun Otega Emerhor is yet to fully accept Hon Victor Ochei, Chief Ayiri Emami, Chief Great Ogboru and others into the Delta APC family.

It follows that the leadership crisis is central to the survival of Delta APC or in the alternative Olorogun Otega Emerhor will forever remain a factional leader while the new entrants into the party will choose a leader among themselves.

The electioneering consequence of this internal cold war is that the faction that has more and greater electoral value and grassroots support will get the backing of APC board of trustees and NWC.  Why? Because emphasis on one individual will not attract the sympaty of the NWC for election purposes; what will matter is the group with grassroots support which can easily be tested for NWC to determine the real grassroots politicians between the two factions.

As it is today, the Senator Okpozo group comprising Chief Adolor Okotie Eboh, Barrister Timi Harrison has pitched tent with Chief Great Ogboru,  Dr Otive Igbuzor, Prof Pat Utomi working with the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachukwu.

Olorogun Otega Emerhor's strength at the moment is his long standing relationship with the party Chairman,  Chief Odigie OYEGUN and Mr Jones Ode Erue Committee. As at today, the Presidency is mounting serious pressure on OYEGUN to dissolve the Jones Exco to enable all stakeholders have  sense of belonging in the party.

Once Jones Exco is out of the way, Olorogun Emerhor will be standing with one leg politically hence he will fight to finish to ensure that Jones Exco is not dissolve till 2018 by which time his core expectations may have be realised.  Will this political permutations work for Olorogun Emerhor?  How long will his crude politics stand to protect his personal and tiny group interest against the superior interest of the entire DELTA APC?

Let's keep our fingers crossed while we loyally and patiently wait for the outcome of the Abuja meeting and the communique that will follow.

It is my prayer that Delta APC be united under one credible and proactive leadership capable of garnering election victory for us in 2019.

I hope I did not say anytime that will provoke the ATTACK DOGS oooo!

APC  ...TAKE OVER DELTA.
