Governor Samuel Ortom has called on Barrister Mrs. Aisha Alkali Wakil, popularly known as Mama Boko Haram, to use her expertise and prevail on militia herdsmen to stop attacks on Benue communities.
He spoke at the Benue Peoples House Makurdi during his investiture and that of his wife as Patron and Matron, Scout Association of Nigeria, Benue State Council.
Governor Ortom was also conferred with the Award of Messenger of Peace while the state deputy Governor, Engr. Benson Abouno as well as Chief Judge, Justice Adam Onum were installed as Deputy Patron and state president respectively.
