The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (Amen), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has reiterated the unflinching support of his ministry for the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State for a second term in office in 2019.He also endorsed Gov. Umahi for second term,considering his numerous achievements in Ebonyi.Gov. Ugwuanyi was represented by his deputy.

The outspoken priest stressed that the ministry has "100 percent support for Gburugburu (Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi)" saying: "It is unquestionable; Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria stands for him; he is a good man; a man of peace; a perfect genius; humble and ever patient".

Speaking during the 2018 Harvest and Thanksgiving Mass of the ministry, held at its arena in Enugu, Fr. Mbaka expressed delight that the Enugu State Governor has entrenched peace and good governance in the state.

The mass was also attended by Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State and his entourage, Vice Presidential Candidate of the PDP, Mr. Peter Obi, and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma,  among other dignitaries.

However, he indirectly attacked Atiku and Peter Obi,saying that their steps so far amounts to failure/foolery.He said that there is no way Atiku will considering the problemshe has with some Southeast governors,senators and other top senators
