*DIVINE MERCY*
*2 Samuel 24:14 -*
*David said to Gad, "I am in deep distress, let us fall into the hands of the LORD, for his mercy is great, but do not let me fall into human hands."*
All have sinned. We should first of all understand that sin is real. Acknowledge responsibility for its consequences; there is a price to be paid for sin, but Jesus paid it all.
No man is born righteous. We constantly push ourselves daily to attend perfection. Our race here on earth is a progressive one. Always bear it in your mind that there is *no heavenly bus stop here on earth.* Our lives should be on check daily.
Divine mercy is unfailing mercy of God. God's mercy transforms us. Divine mercy is the platform God provides for sins we commit if we are willing to repent. Repentance is a great step that attracts God's mercy.
David weighed the great mercy of God and the limited mercy of man, and he came to conclusion that it was better for him to fall into God's limitless mercy. Man's mercy can only deal on physical part of our body, but divine mercy will go a long way to deal with our inner being - the spirit.
OH LORD! Let us fall in your hand of mercies. Your mercy is what we need at this critical time:
- When sickness (coronavirus) is ravaging the world.
- when sin is being celebrated daily.
- when love is very hard to be found in our lives, families and churches.
- when false prophets stand on the altar of God to prophesy.
- when fear of unknown and hard times become the order of the day.
We are helpless at this point. We plead for your mercy our dear Lord. Father! Pardon and forgive us our sins. Have mercy upon our lives and families. Let your mercy rest over the body of Christ and our nation.
It is all about Divine Mercy. Amen
