The Honourable Minister of Environment, Hajiya Amina J. Mohammed, who was recently appointed as the Deputy Secratary-General of the UN, accompanied by the State Minister of Environment, Mallam Ibrahim Usman Jibril, Hon. Obinna Chidoka, Chairman, House Committee on Environment and Habitat, the chairman, Senate Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, Sen. Bukar Abba Ibrahim, et al were in Maiduguri to assess the environmental and climate change impact on the State, and to also know the impact of insurgency on the environmental programs in the state as to budget implementation.
