A Welcome Address Delivered By The Honourable Commissioner For Works And Transportation, Mrs. Funmilayo Ogun On The Occassion of The Foundation Laying Ceremony Of The New Ultra-Modern High Court Complex At Ado-Ekiti On Wednesday 12th October, 2016

It is with great pleasure and deep sense of humour that I welcome you all to the foundation laying of the new ultra-modern High Court complex in Ado Ekiti.
Our visionary, proactive, articulate, enterprising Governor, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose as part of his continued, consistent and selfless efforts to put Ekiti State in her place of pride conceived this laudable project.
It might interest you to note that in just less than two years of his ascendancy as the Chief Executive of this great state, a lot of landmark projects and infrastructure had been put in place to alleviate the suffering of our people and give Ekiti State to facelift. In spite of the lean resources accruing to our dear state,, this present administration had been able to manage same and translate same into some projects such as Adunni Olayinka Women Development Centre, Veterinary Clinic, dualisation of roads in Ado-Ekiti, dualisation of major township rehabilitation of roads all across the state, construction of Oja Oba Market and Flyover Bridge which are currently on-going .
The construction of the New High Court Complex will invariably enhance the productivity of the judiciary in this state and will also provide adequate modernised Court Rooms and offices which will in no small measure enhance quicker justice dispensation.
I also want to appreciate our dynamic Governor, the architect of Modern Ekiti, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose for his vision and and painstaking efforts towards making judiciary a place of pride.
We also thank you sir for the confidence repose in us to handle this laudable project. We are assuring you, sir that we will keep pace with you in the execution of this and other well- conceived projects that will better the lots of Ekiti people.
We also remain grateful to all stakeholders who have in one way or the other made our task of making today's ceremony a reality towards making our judges and staff of this High Court have a comfortable office complex soonest.
We plead that you endure all inconveniences due to construction activities for the duration of the project.
I welcome you all to this August gathering which marks the process that will deliver a befitting and comfortable high Court complex for our judges and judiciary staff soonest. Thank you and God bless Ekiti State.
