This elderly is presently at Market Street, Ebute Meta (East) beside Agoro Mosque. He was said to be formerly at Cemetery Street close to the Redeemed Church of Christ Headquarters before moving to the present location this morning.
Investigations carried out revealed that the residents of Cemetery Street called the state emergency service yesterday and an ambulance was despatched to the scene but they refused to move the man to a hospital.From the residents, it was learnt they insisted that the man can only be evacuated be the State Welfare Department. The medical state of the man is critical. He is very week with swollen legs and bruises on the arms.
A resident of the area, Rasheed Adeyeye, said that several calls have been placed to Lagos Emergency Service on 112 but there is yet to be any sign of them.
