The Igbo have a saying that can be loosely translated to mean this: that people become ugly only when they are broke. And that saying holds true, at least as affirmed by a Twitter user 'Muthoni'' who shared the 'before and after' success photo of Tanzanian singer, Diamond Platnumz (Nasibu Abdul Jumma).

In August, Diamond Platnumz, who adopted a Nigerian name – Chibu Dangote, and uses same as his name on Instagram, announced that he is collaborating with American singer Ne-Yo to release their first single.
