Sunny-Goli Purchased Jamb Forms For Higher Institution's Prospective Students Among His Constituents, A Gesture Worth Emulating
The lawmaker representing Brass Constituency 1 in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly (APC ), Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli has purchased over 700 Jamb forms for prospective students of higher institutions in his constituency for the 2017/2018 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UMTE) in a bid to promote education among his people. Sunny-Goli made the forms available for qualified folks in his constituency with a view to promote education among his constituents and to eradicate illiteracy in the constituency.
The lawmaker who is serving his first term in Bayelsa State House of Assembly has distinguished himself and shown level of commitment to look after the welfare of constituents. Recall that Hon. Israel Sunny-Goli provided succour and food stuffs for members of Brass Constituency 1 during the 2016 yuletide, a gesture which alleviated the sufferings of his constituents at the time the Restoration Government institutionalised half salary and irregular wage payment in the state.
Sunny-Goli has overtime proven to be an outstanding Lawmaker in the state House. He's the only Lawmaker in the state who stood his ground to challenge the bill establishing the University of Africa last year, describing it as a "misplaced priority'.
