Kenneth Omeruo Donates N2m To Veteran Coach Kelechi Emeteole Who Is Battling Throat Cancer

Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has donated  2 million naira to ailing ex-Green Eagles star and veteran Nigerian coach Kelechi Emetole, in order to assist him in his medical bill. It was indeed a sign of relief for Kelechi Emeteole and his family.

News of Emeteole battling throat cancer went viral days back. His present health condition became a topic of discussion among Nigerians who were of the view that good spirited individuals should as a matter of urgency come to his rescue in view of the important roles he played in the country's sporting history.

He was a one time Green Eagles playerAfter his retirement,he joined coaching profession where he has left a mark in the history of Nigerian football.He has coached Heartland Football club, Rangers football club, Elkanemi Warriors, among many others.

On hearing the pitiable condition of the football veteran,Kenneth Emeruo came in to rescue his life. It was gathered that the joy of his family members knew no bound on hearing the cheerful news of Omeruo's gesture and generosity  towards Kelechi. Football lovers across the country are equally happy with Omeruo as commendations have continued to trail the good news.

Kenneth Omeruo plays for Turkish club Alanyaspor, on loan from English football club Chelsea. He was part of the Super Eagles team that won the third African cup of Nation for Nigeria in 2012.
