Psalm 22 God Speaks Today (DHH)

Shout of anguish and song of praise

(1)  From the choirmaster, according to the melody of "The doe of the dawn". Psalm of David.

22 (2)  My God, my God,
why have you abandoned me?
Why do not you come to save me?
Why do not you listen to my laments?
(3)  My God,
day and night I call you, and you do not answer;
There is no rest for me!

(4)  But you are holy;
you reign, praised by Israel.
(5)  Our parents trusted you;
they trusted, and you freed them;
(6) they  asked you for help, and you gave them freedom;
They trusted you, and you did not defraud them.

(7)  But I am not a man, but a worm;
I am the laughingstock of the people!
(8)  Those who see me, make fun of me;
they grin at me, shake their heads
(9)  and say:
"He trusted in the Lord;
Well, may the Lord free you.
Since he loves him so much, let him save it. "

(10)  And so it is:
you made me be born from my mother's womb;
in your chest you made me rest.
10 (11)  Before I was born,
I was placed under your care;
from my mother's womb,
my God is you.
11 (12)  Do not stray from me,
for I am on the verge of anguish
and I have no one to help me.

12 (13)  My enemies have surrounded me like bulls,
like the mighty bulls of Bashan;
13 (14) they  roar like ferocious lions,
open their mouths and throw themselves at me.
14 (15)  I am like water that spills;
My bones are dislocated.
My heart is like wax
that melts inside me.
15 (16)  My mouth is dry as a tile;
I have my tongue stuck to the palate.
You have sunk me to the dust of death!
16 (17)  Like dogs, a band of evildoers
has completely surrounded me;
My hands and feet have been torn.
17 (18)  I can tell my bones!
My enemies do not take my eyes off me;
18 (19)  My clothes have been divided among themselves,
and on it they cast lots.

19 (20)  But you, Lord, you are my strength,
do not move away !, come quickly to my help!
20 (21)  Deliver me from dying with the edge of the sword,
do not let those dogs kill me,
21 (22)  save me from the mouth of those lions,
defend me from the horns of those bulls!

22 (23)  I will speak of you to my brothers,
I will praise you in your meetings.
23 (24)  You who honor the Lord, praise him!
Glorify him all the descendants of Jacob!
Adore it all the descendants of Israel!
24 (25)  For he does not despise or ignore
the suffering of the poor,
nor hide from them.
He hears them when they ask for help!
25 (26)  In the presence of your numerous people I
will praise your faithfulness;
will keep my promises before those who honor
you.

26 (27)  Eat, you oppressed,
until you are satisfied;
praise the Lord, you who seek him,
and live many years.
27 (28)  Breeds and nations all,
people from every corner of the earth:
remember the Lord, and come to him;
Kneel before him!
28 (29)  For the Lord is the King,
and he rules the nations.
29 (30)  Incline yourselves and worship him only to
all who live in abundance,
all who are to return to dust,
for in themselves they have no life.

30 (31)  My descendants will worship the Lord
and speak about him all his life;
31 (32)  to those who are born later, they will be told
of their righteousness and their deeds
