A 19yr old seminarian,Gerald Angia,living in the parish house in Bamessing was shot dead by Cameroonian soldiers.According to report,he was shot dead immediately after attending to the sacristy.He was meant to start major seminary next week.Below is what popular Cameroonian site BaretaNews shared...
“He is from Njindom parish that just finished from kitiwum, that the military were passing then stopped and came into the church, met him in the sacristry, called him outside and asked him to go down on his stomach , he went down. They asked him to get up, he did, they asked him again to go down the second time, he went down and they shut him and left. This is Ocultic ( he is from bamessing)”
