Olaniran Olabisi was a student of the department of Physical Health Education of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, until 2013 when the unfortunate incident happened.
She was an athlete representing her school at competitions and was preparing for the National Colleges of Education Games (NACEGA) when she slipped and injured her knee on May 9, 2013.
All attempts to get it treated successfully was futile as the knee continued to swell up and ended her bedridden since that year making it impossible for her complete her education.
Left with no father, an aged and helpless mother, she couldn't get proper treatment for the leg, she has always been in severe pains and the condition continued to deteriorate.
