Today's praises: I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.

Psalm 9
1
Psalm 9 For the director of music. To [the tune of] "The Death of the Son." A psalm of David. [1]
1
I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders.
2
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
3
My enemies turn back; they stumble and perish before you.
4
For you have upheld my right and my cause; you have sat on your throne, judging righteously.
5
You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have blotted out their name for ever and ever.
6
Endless ruin has overtaken the enemy, you have uprooted their cities; even the memory of them has perished.
7
The LORD reigns forever; he has established his throne for judgment.
8
He will judge the world in righteousness; he will govern the peoples with justice.
9
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
10
Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
11
Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done.
12
For he who avenges blood remembers; he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.
13
O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,
14
that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion and there rejoice in your salvation.
15
The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.
16
The LORD is known by his justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands. Higgaion. [2] Selah
17
The wicked return to the grave, [3] all the nations that forget God.
18
But the needy will not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the afflicted ever perish.
19
Arise, O LORD, let not man triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence.
20
Strike them with terror, O LORD; let the nations know they are but men. Selah

Today's bible teaching: My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 121 | New International Version

A song of ascents.

1I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?2My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.3He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber;4indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.5The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand;6the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.7The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;8the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Today's bible teaching: Let those who are wise give heed to these things, and consider the steadfast love of the Lord

Psalm 107

1O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.

2Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, those he redeemed from trouble

3and gathered in from the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.

4Some wandered in desert wastes, finding no way to an inhabited town;

5hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted within them.

6Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress;

7he led them by a straight way, until they reached an inhabited town.

8Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.

9For he satisfies the thirsty, and the hungry he fills with good things.

10Some sat in darkness and in gloom, prisoners in misery and in irons,

11for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High.

12Their hearts were bowed down with hard labor; they fell down, with no one to help.

13Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress;

14he brought them out of darkness and gloom, and broke their bonds asunder.

15Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.

16For he shatters the doors of bronze, and cuts in two the bars of iron.

17Some were sick through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities endured affliction;

18they loathed any kind of food, and they drew near to the gates of death.

19Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress;

20he sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from destruction.

21Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.

22And let them offer thanksgiving sacrifices, and tell of his deeds with songs of joy.

23Some went down to the sea in ships, doing business on the mighty waters;

24they saw the deeds of the Lord, his wondrous works in the deep.

25For he commanded and raised the stormy wind, which lifted up the waves of the sea.

26They mounted up to heaven, they went down to the depths; their courage melted away in their calamity;

27they reeled and staggered like drunkards, and were at their wits’ end.

28Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out from their distress;

29he made the storm be still, and the waves of the sea were hushed.

30Then they were glad because they had quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven.

31Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wonderful works to humankind.

32Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

33He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground,

34a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.

35He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water.

36And there he lets the hungry live, and they establish a town to live in;

37they sow fields, and plant vineyards, and get a fruitful yield.

38By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their cattle decrease.

39When they are diminished and brought low through oppression, trouble, and sorrow,

40he pours contempt on princes and makes them wander in trackless wastes;

41but he raises up the needy out of distress, and makes their families like flocks.

42The upright see it and are glad; and all wickedness stops its mouth.

43Let those who are wise give heed to these things, and consider the steadfast love of the Lord.

Today's bible teaching: I will bless you Lord as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

Psalm 63

My Soul Thirsts for You

1A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.2So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.3Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.4So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.5My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,6when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night;7for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.8My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.9But those who seek to destroy my life shall go down into the depths of the earth;10they shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for jackals.11But the king shall rejoice in God; all who swear by him shall exult, for the mouths of liars will be stopped.

Today's bible teaching: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness

*SUFFICIENT GRACE*

*2 Corinthians 12:9 -*
*And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.*

Life is meaningless without the grace of God. God's grace is only experienced when we reach the end of our ability and move into total dependence upon Him. God gives us the measure of grace we need to meet the demands of what is happening in our lives.

I want you to know that many things in life will fail. World health seems to be an elusive thing today. Riches and wealth are beyond our reach. Friendships will blossom and then die. Those we love will pass from the scene leaving a void in our hearts that is very hard to be filled. In all these challenges of life, there is one thing you possess that can never fail, never end and that will never be found to be insufficient, and that is the grace of God.

Indeed, the road of life maybe too long, the days maybe filled with difficulties and struggles, but be rest assured that there will be grace sufficient for every need and trial. This is the promise of God for us.

By His sufficient grace, there is strength in our weakness. We enjoy health even in the midst of pandemic because His grace is sufficient for us.

Beloved, you are safe and protected by His grace. Amen!

Today's prayer: Have mercy on us, O God,according to your unfailing love

Psalm 51 King James Version (KJV)

51 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

18 Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Today's bible teaching: The Lord is the helper of the fatherless

Psalm 10

10 Why standest thou afar off, O Lord? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the Lord abhorreth.

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

10 He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

11 He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

12 Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

16 The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

17 Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

Today's bible teaching: I lie down and sleep;I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.I will not fear though tens of thousands assail me on every side.

Psalm 3

A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.

Lord, how many are my foes!
    How many rise up against me!
Many are saying of me,
    “God will not deliver him.[b]

But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
    my glory, the One who lifts my head high.
I call out to the Lord,
    and he answers me from his holy mountain.

I lie down and sleep;
    I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
I will not fear though tens of thousands
    assail me on every side.

Arise, Lord!
    Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
    break the teeth of the wicked.

From the Lord comes deliverance.
    May your blessing be on your people.
