Today's teaching: Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.

Psalm 21

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

The king rejoices in your strength, Lord.
    How great is his joy in the victories you give!

You have granted him his heart’s desire
    and have not withheld the request of his lips.[b]
You came to greet him with rich blessings
    and placed a crown of pure gold on his head.
He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—
    length of days, for ever and ever.
Through the victories you gave, his glory is great;
    you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty.
Surely you have granted him unending blessings
    and made him glad with the joy of your presence.
For the king trusts in the Lord;
    through the unfailing love of the Most High
    he will not be shaken.

Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies;
    your right hand will seize your foes.
When you appear for battle,
    you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace.
The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath,
    and his fire will consume them.
10 You will destroy their descendants from the earth,
    their posterity from mankind.
11 Though they plot evil against you
    and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.
12 You will make them turn their backs
    when you aim at them with drawn bow.

13 Be exalted in your strength, Lord;
    we will sing and praise your might.

Today's bible teaching: May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.

*MORE LOVE*

*1 Thessalonians 3:12 -*
*May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.*

Love is not static. Our love for each other should be progressive. Love is living. It has the ability to grow and increase at all time. God wants our love to grow and overflow. God want you to have an increasing love. An abounding love - a love that spills over.

Grow in love "for each other." We are encouraged to increase the love we have for other believers in Christ. Grow in love "for everyone." This signals our love for the lost (unbelievers) should also increase as well. We are to sacrifice for the sake of love for both believers and unbelievers.

If there is any time the world is in dare need of more love is now. The church, family and society constantly moving each day to show more love to the dead more than the living. People can spend their last money to take care of burial cost whenever someone close to them dies. Moreover, the one who is dead might have died as a result of financial challenges, hunger or lack of medical attention that required money.

Only the love of Christ can help us correct the societal wrongs - lack of more love for the living. Show love to that person around you who is in need of help. The love you show to someone today will definitely go a long way to keep the person in faith till the end. Reach out to someone today, because tomorrow might be too late to show the more love.

"I love you"  I love you" shouldn't just end only in words. Show it in action. A hungry man can not understand your love language until you feed him with enough food.

Beloved, more love of Christ is in you to take care of the needy. A thirsty soul is yearning to hear a word of hope full of God's love from you. The right time to show more love for each other is now!

I pray for more love in our spirit and body OH LORD! Let your more love overflow in our lives. Amen🙏

Today's bible teaching: Israel, put your hope in the Lord both now and forevermore

Psalm 131

A song of ascents. Of David.

My heart is not proud, Lord,
    my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters
    or things too wonderful for me.
But I have calmed and quieted myself,
    I am like a weaned child with its mother;
    like a weaned child I am content.

Israel, put your hope in the Lord
    both now and forevermore.

Today's bible teaching: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

*BEST GIFT EVER!*

*John 3:16 -*
*For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.*

Giving is an expression of love. Love must be measured by its gifts. People give for many different reasons, but the key to joyful giving is love.

No power on earth can stop us from giving all that we are and all that we have to the person we love. Tell a man who has fallen in love with football to stop playing or watching the game, he won't listen to your words; instead, he will spend more money to learn more skills on how to play football the more. Tell a young man who has fallen in love with the woman of his dreams to quit buying gifts to the lover, then watch and see how that works! On the same vein, tell a Christian who is on fire for Jesus to "cool it," and you will find out that you might as well be talking to the wall.

The love of Christ in us is unquenchable. God loves us and has demonstrated His love by giving Jesus to die for our sins and in Him we have the best gift - eternal life.

When we are in love with Jesus, giving becomes a lifestyle. Only then we can go on to give, and give and give and count it all joy.

Beloved, the best gift ever is to reach out to the lost soul via the gospel of love. Remain blessed as you give your best for the sake of love in Jesus matchless name Amen!

Today's bible teaching: Therefore, you kings, be wise;be warned, you rulers of the earth. 11 Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling

Psalm 2 New International Version (NIV)

Psalm 2

Why do the nations conspire[a]
    and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up
    and the rulers band together
    against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
“Let us break their chains
    and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
    the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger
    and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
“I have installed my king
    on Zion, my holy mountain.

I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;
    today I have become your father.
Ask me,
    and I will make the nations your inheritance,
    the ends of the earth your possession.
You will break them with a rod of iron[b];
    you will dash them to pieces like pottery.

10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
    be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
    and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
    and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
    Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

Today's bible teaching: How can we sing the songs of the Lord while in a foreign land?

Psalm 137

By the rivers of Babylon we sat and wept
    when we remembered Zion.
There on the poplars
    we hung our harps,
for there our captors asked us for songs,
    our tormentors demanded songs of joy;
    they said, “Sing us one of the songs of Zion!”

How can we sing the songs of the Lord
    while in a foreign land?
If I forget you, Jerusalem,
    may my right hand forget its skill.
May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth
    if I do not remember you,
if I do not consider Jerusalem
    my highest joy.

Remember, Lord, what the Edomites did
    on the day Jerusalem fell.
“Tear it down,” they cried,
    “tear it down to its foundations!”
Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,
    happy is the one who repays you
    according to what you have done to us.
Happy is the one who seizes your infants
    and dashes them against the rocks.
