Today's prayer: Look on me and answer, Lord my God.Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death

Psalm 13

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord's praise,
for he has been good to me.

Today's bible teaching: But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by His wounds we are healed.

*LIFE TONIC*

*Isaiah  53:5 -*
*But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by His wounds we are healed.*

Beloved, He was wounded not for any sins of His own, but for ours, for our rebellions against God.
Jesus took upon Himself the punishment of our sins to the cross.
He paid the debt He didn't owe with a high price we couldn't pay. What a wonderful God we serve.
His death brought us victory to sin.

*His death our life.*

May His death reposition us for greatness in Jesus Name.Amen
