Pretty Bianca Ojukwu stuns at Ndigbo Cultural Fiesta in Ireland(Photos)
ADA N' OKPARA NDIGBO CULTURAL FIESTA, DUBLIN, IRELAND.
And so it was when the Igbo Community in Ireland turned out together with their friends and well wishers over the weekend to witness and celebrate the Igbo cultural fiesta. The Mayor was there as were Irish parliamentarians.It was indeed a memorable event. Ndigbo in Ireland have done a wonderful job in ensuring that their children, a new generation born and now being raised in Ireland are firmly in touch with their Igbo roots.
The children and youths impressed Bianca Ojukwu with their spoken Igbo, their knowledge of Igbo culture and tradition of obedience to parents and elders and for the females, their grasp of a woman's role in the home.It was a night of song, dance,debates, pageants, native wrestling, masquerades and other cultural activities.
In the course of Bianca Ojukwu's address,she made it clear that they must never forget who they are. Oh yes, There was a country..their country. They are of the land of the rising sun, born of a stock that is resilient, dynamic,indomitable and must never cease to dedicate themselves to the great task of immortalizing, by continually reinforcing and proclaiming their identity, the sacrifices ordinary men, women and children had to make to secure their future.

Today's bible teaching: The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters,he refreshes my soul.
Psalm 23
A psalm of David.
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,[a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely your goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of theLord
forever.
