Today's bible teaching: The grace to become a carrier of good news is your portion. Remain blessed as you carry the good news to every where you go.

*CARRIERS OF GOOD NEWS*

*Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,*

The entire mission of Jesus coming into this world was to proclaim the good news. The mission of Jesus is the driving force of the gospel. Jesus went on to fulfill His mission during His earthly ministry and He continues fulfilling His mission through us today. We are to live our lives with this task of declaring good news to the world.

In the world of today, many are heart broken, blind, captured by sinful nature, oppressed and lack of liberty are the order of the day. Many are hopeless today and see no point in living. Everything is turning out against them. Solution to life challenges are not forthcoming.

Is there any solution to the sickness of the world? Jesus - the good news of the kingdom is the only antidote for everything we are passing through. Jesus came to heal the broken hearted. He is the great physician who can make us whole again.

As believers, we are  carriers of good news like Jesus. Our mouths should proclaim the gospel to all nations. Let the good news of the Kingdom that flows from your mouth overshadows the numerous bad news that is oppressing the world today.

The grace to become a carrier of good news is your portion. Remain blessed as you carry the good news to every where you go... Amen!

*Shalom!*

Today's prayer: Hear, LORD, and be merciful to me; LORD, be my help

 Psalm 30

A song. For the dedication of the temple. Of David.

1 I will exalt you, LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me. 2 LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. 3 You, LORD, brought me up from the realm of the dead; you spared me from going down to the pit. 4 Sing the praises of the LORD, you his faithful people; praise his holy name. 5 For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. 6 When I felt secure, I said, “I will never be shaken.” 7 LORD, when you favored me, you made my royal mountain stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed. 8 To you, LORD, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy: 9 “What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness? 10 Hear, LORD, and be merciful to me; LORD, be my help.” 11 You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, 12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.

Today's bible teaching: Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord

Psalm 32

Blessed Are the Forgiven

1A Maskil* of David. Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.2Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.3For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.4For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was dried up* as by the heat of summer.5I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin.6Therefore let everyone who is godly offer prayer to you at a time when you may be found; surely in the rush of great waters, they shall not reach him.7You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance.8I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.9Be not like a horse or a mule, without understanding, which must be curbed with bit and bridle, or it will not stay near you.10Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds the one who trusts in the Lord.11Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart

Today's prayer: Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy

Psalm 64

1Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint;f

protect my life from the threat of the enemy.g

Hide me from the conspiracyh of the wicked,i

from the plots of evildoers.

They sharpen their tongues like swordsj

and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.k

They shoot from ambush at the innocent;l

they shoot suddenly, without fear.m

They encourage each other in evil plans,

they talk about hiding their snares;n

they say, “Who will see itb?”o

They plot injustice and say,

“We have devised a perfect plan!”

Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

But God will shoot them with his arrows;

they will suddenly be struck down.

He will turn their own tongues against themp

and bring them to ruin;

all who see them will shake their headsq in scorn.r

All people will fear;s

they will proclaim the works of God

and ponder what he has done.t

10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lordu

and take refuge in him;v

all the upright in heart will glory in him!w

Today's prayer: May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay.

Psalm 35

Of David.

1 Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. 2 Take up shield and armor; arise and come to my aid. 3 Brandish spear and javelinagainst those who pursue me. Say to me, “I am your salvation.” 4 May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; may those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay. 5 May they be like chaff before the wind, with the angel of the LORD driving them away; 6 may their path be dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them. 7 Since they hid their net for me without cause and without cause dug a pit for me, 8 may ruin overtake them by surprise— may the net they hid entangle them, may they fall into the pit, to their ruin. 9 Then my soul will rejoice in the LORDand delight in his salvation. 10 My whole being will exclaim, “Who is like you, LORD? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them.” 11 Ruthless witnesses come forward; they question me on things I know nothing about. 12 They repay me evil for good and leave me like one bereaved. 13 Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth and humbled myself with fasting. When my prayers returned to me unanswered, 14 I went about mourning as though for my friend or brother. I bowed my head in grief as though weeping for my mother. 15 But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee; assailants gathered against me without my knowledge. They slandered me without ceasing. 16 Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;they gnashed their teeth at me. 17 How long, Lord, will you look on? Rescue me from their ravages, my precious life from these lions. 18 I will give you thanks in the great assembly; among the throngs I will praise you. 19 Do not let those gloat over me who are my enemies without cause; do not let those who hate me without reason maliciously wink the eye. 20 They do not speak peaceably, but devise false accusations against those who live quietly in the land. 21 They sneer at me and say, “Aha! Aha! With our own eyes we have seen it.” 22 LORD, you have seen this; do not be silent. Do not be far from me, Lord. 23 Awake, and rise to my defense! Contend for me, my God and Lord. 24 Vindicate me in your righteousness, LORD my God; do not let them gloat over me. 25 Do not let them think, “Aha, just what we wanted!” or say, “We have swallowed him up.” 26 May all who gloat over my distress be put to shame and confusion; may all who exalt themselves over me be clothed with shame and disgrace. 27 May those who delight in my vindication shout for joy and gladness; may they always say, “The LORD be exalted, who delights in the well-being of his servant.” 28 My tongue will proclaim your righteousness, your praises all day long.
