Psalm 13

1: Psalm 13 For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1: How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2: How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3: Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4: my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5: But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6: I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.

Psalm 47

1: Psalm 47 For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm.
1: Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy.
2: How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth!
3: He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.
4: He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom he loved. Selah
5: God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets.
6: Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises.
7: For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm ^[1] of praise.
8: God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.
9: The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings ^[2] of the earth belong to God; he is greatly exalted.

Psalm 30

1: Psalm 30 A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple. ^[1] Of David.
1: I will exalt you, O LORD, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2: O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.
3: O LORD, you brought me up from the grave ^[2] ; you spared me from going down into the pit.
4: Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name.
5: For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
6: When I felt secure, I said, "I will never be shaken."
7: O LORD, when you favored me, you made my mountain ^[3] stand firm; but when you hid your face, I was dismayed.
8: To you, O LORD, I called; to the Lord I cried for mercy:
9: "What gain is there in my destruction, ^[4] in my going down into the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness?
10: Hear, O LORD, and be merciful to me; O LORD, be my help."
11: You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12: that my heart may sing to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

Psalm 123

1: Psalm 123 A song of ascents.
1: I lift up my eyes to you, to you whose throne is in heaven.
2: As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, till he shows us his mercy.
3: Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt.
4: We have endured much ridicule from the proud, much contempt from the arrogant.

Psalm 16

1: Psalm 16 A miktam^[1] of David.
1: Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2: I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
3: As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.^[2]
4: The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips.
5: LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure.
6: The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7: I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
8: I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9: Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
10: because you will not abandon me to the grave,^[3] nor will you let your Holy One^[4] see decay.
11: You have made^[5] known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 15

1: Psalm 15 A psalm of David.
1: LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill?
2: He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart
3: and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman,
4: who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts,
5: who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.

Psalm 4

1: Psalm 4 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of David.
1: Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
2: How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame ^[1] ? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods ^[2] ? Selah
3: Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him.
4: In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Selah
5: Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD.
6: Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
7: You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.
8: I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
