Today's bible teaching: The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer

Psalm 6
1
Psalm 6 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. According to sheminith.  A psalm of David.
1
O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.
2
Be merciful to me, LORD, for I am faint; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are in agony.
3
My soul is in anguish. How long, O LORD, how long?
4
Turn, O LORD, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.
5
No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave [2] ?
6
I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping and drench my couch with tears.
7
My eyes grow weak with sorrow; they fail because of all my foes.
8
Away from me, all you who do evil, for the LORD has heard my weeping.
9
The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer.
10
All my enemies will be ashamed and dismayed; they will turn back in sudden disgrace.

praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.

Today's praises: Praise the LORD. Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.

Psalm 113
1
Psalm 113
1
Praise the LORD. Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
2
Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore.
3
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised.
4
The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens.
5
Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high,
6
who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth?
7
He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap;
8
he seats them with princes, with the princes of their people.
9
He settles the barren woman in her home as a happy mother of children. Praise the LORD.

Today's prayer: Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge

Psalm 16
1
Psalm 16 A miktam of David.
1
Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2
I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing."
3
As for the saints who are in the land, they are the glorious ones in whom is all my delight.[2]
4
The sorrows of those will increase who run after other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips.
5
LORD, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure.
6
The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7
I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.
8
I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
9
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure,
10
because you will not abandon me to the grave,[3] nor will you let your Holy One[4] see decay.
11
You have made[5] known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand

Today's bible teaching: He who does these things will never be shaken

Psalm 15
1
Psalm 15 A psalm of David.
1
LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill?
2
He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart
3
and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman,
4
who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts,
5
who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.
