Congrats to Victor Moses.

Chelsea star Victor Moses has won the PFA Fans' Premier League Player of the Month award for November, beating the likes of Sergio Aguero and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
More than 40,000 votes were cast in the poll, which was held on the Sky Sports website and apps, with Moses claiming a landslide victory with 18,756 votes.
Swansea's Sigurdsson came second with 7,791 votes, while Watford's Nordin Amrabat was third with 5,378 votes. Rounding off the top six were Sunderland's Victor Anichebe (3,642), Manchester City's Aguero (3,457) and West Brom's Matt Phillips (1,203).
The six candidates were chosen by our expert panel, which included Sky Sports pundits Peter Beagrie and Paul Merson, Mike Riley - general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials, and Malcolm Clarke - chairman of the Football Supporters' Federation.
And it is Moses, whose performances in November have helped Chelsea to the top of the Premier League, who has come out on top thanks to your votes, which have been verified by an independent party.

OGUN COMMAND ARREST 3 SUSPECTED SMUGGLERS, SEIZE SMUGGLED GOODS

In its quest to combat smuggling and reduce it to the barest minimum, the Ogun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has recorded significant successes and have greatly improved on its anti-smuggling profile with the magnitude of seizures made so far.

On the 15th of November, 2016, barely 24hours after the arrival of the new Customs Area Controller, Compt. Hassan Gangua, the gallant officers of the Command arrested One (1) petroleum tanker filled to capacity with imported rice along the Idiroko axis of the command. The arrest was also made of Twenty five (25) vehicles loaded with smuggled rice also along the same route.
In another development, on the 21st of November, 2016  Roving squad officers of the command intercepted one (1) trailer carrying an estimate of about 500 bags of rice along the Lagos –Sagamu interchange. These uncustoms goods which were neatly packed were heading to the Eastern part of the country to be sold in the open market. Right now three (3) suspects namely- Anthony Nwapa (60), Osunkwo Chukwu (32), and Hyginus Igbokwe (39) have been apprehended in connection with the seizure and detained in the Customs custody, while preliminary investigations are ongoing.

Other subsequent arrests made by the command in the last one week are nineteen (19) motorcycles used by the smugglers as a means of conveyance, four (4) vehicles arrested while smuggling 4000 cartons of frozen poultry products among others.

The vehicles/motorcycles and the rice are currently in the premises of the command, awaiting evacuation to the Government warehouse, while the frozen poultry products have since being destroyed by burning and burial.

It is very obvious that with the yuletide season fast approaching, the activities of smugglers tends to be on the increase, and it is on this premise that the command is soliciting for the support of the media and public to report any act of smuggling activities by economic saboteurs.

I thank you all for coming to witness this solemn occasion that is being marked by this brief ceremony. Twice this great party has spoken and twice I have answered.

From all the 18 local government areas, I thank you. I thank all the women of Ondo state, all the youths and all the men of Ondo state. I thank all members of our great Party, the APC.  Today you have all voted for change and your foresight has laid a solid platform for the liberation of our people. I accept this Honour to serve as Governor, this call to duty, this divine responsibility to lead you wonderful people. I accept this victory with every sense of humility and responsibility.  I thank you.

I cannot thank enough, my fellow compatriots during this election, who had a separate conviction and voted elsewhere. They took the guts to answer the call of democracy to make a choice. I believe it is these resounding voices that have created this worthy moment which is making this victory real and refreshing. I thank you.

Today’s victory is of God through the good people of Ondo state. It is not for me or APC alone. It is a victory for the people of Ondo state, irrespective of which side of the divide you stood during the election. For me it is a call to service and a challenge to perform. Although we all had different points of view before the election but today, as members of one strong, vibrant and indivisible Ondo state family, we are all united and resolute with one single objective to save our beloved Ondo state.

With this new dawn, it is now time to rediscover and reinvent ourselves. It is time to find what we lost, to rescue this land and its people from the myriad of poverty and pains which daily assail their lives. As patriots, it is now time to unite and revamp our fortunes.

As Governor, we will take deliberate and decisive steps to optimally harness our overall potential for greatness, prosperity, peace and stability. YES WE WILL.

I cannot end this speech without sincerely thanking INEC for conducting a free, fair, transparent and credible election in our state. It is clear that this INEC means business in sanitizing our electoral process and strengthening democracy. I like to put it on record that in this election, we witnessed and confirm an INEC that is truly responsible and independent.

May I also specially thank the security agencies, particularly the Police, DSS, Army and Navy as well as the para military agencies for true service to our fatherland. The conduct of these security agencies during this election shows me that this country can be greater if we want it to be.

For everything there is a time. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to weep and a time to rejoice. A time to sow and a time to reap. A time to campaign for vote and a time to Govern.

Ondo state people have voted for me as Governor for the a tenure of four years starting from February 25th 2017, the ball is now in my court to provide leadership that will take our people from a place of poverty and stagnation unto the path of hope and irreversible progress.  This I will do so help me God.
