NIGERIAN ARMY INTERCEPT SUSPECTED BANDITS IN NASARAWA STATE

1. The Nigerian Army has intercepted a Nissan bus with 20 occupants along Nasarawa - Abuja road while conducting a routine check.

2. The occupants on interrogation, claimed they were hunters from Adamawa on transit to Abuja for National Hunters Association scheduled to take place today, Saturday 28 July 2018.

3. Items recovered include:

a. 17 locally made guns.

b. 135 Cartridges.

c. Two locally made pistols.

d. One locally made knife.

e. Three cutlasses.

f. One bow and 38 Arrows.

g. Assorted charms.

4. Preliminary investigation is ongoing and the suspects will be handed over to the appropriate authority on completion.

5. You are please requested to disseminate this information to the general public through your reputable medium.

He was killed when Boko Haram attacked soldiers of 156 Task Force Battalion under 29 Task Force Brigade on Friday 27 July 2018 in a clearance operation.Unfortunately they lost (6) Six soldiers while 18 others sustain serious injuries

May their souls rest in perfect peace.Death is an obstacle every body must cross.They fought  gallantly with the last drop of their blood.

Femi Adesina receives 2nd Igbo title in Abia State

Venue: Isieketa, Isiala Ngwa area of Abia State.

Mr Femi Adesina was invested with the title of Ugo Mba (Eagle of the Community) by His Royal Majesty, Eze Elder Nelson Nmerengwa, the Isiala 1 of Isieketa. This was part of activities marking the 60th birthday of the monarch, as well as the 19th anniversary of his coronation.

Adesina dedicated the title to God, and to President Muhammadu Buhari, whom he pledged would make great impact on all areas of the country, particularly the South-East geo-political zone.

This is the second title the S.A Media would receive from the South-East this year. In January, he was given Nwanne di Namba (a brother from another mother) by Igwe Madu Nevobasi of Nmaku Kingdom, Awgu Local Government, Enugu State.
