Psalm 61

1: Psalm 61 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. Of David.
1: Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.
2: From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
3: For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe.
4: I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah
5: For you have heard my vows, O God; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
6: Increase the days of the king's life, his years for many generations.
7: May he be enthroned in God's presence forever; appoint your love and faithfulness to protect him.
8: Then will I ever sing praise to your name and fulfill my vows day after day.

Psalm 76

1: Psalm 76 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of Asaph. A song.
1: In Judah God is known; his name is great in Israel.
2: His tent is in Salem, his dwelling place in Zion.
3: There he broke the flashing arrows, the shields and the swords, the weapons of war. Selah
4: You are resplendent with light, more majestic than mountains rich with game.
5: Valiant men lie plundered, they sleep their last sleep; not one of the warriors can lift his hands.
6: At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both horse and chariot lie still.
7: You alone are to be feared. Who can stand before you when you are angry?
8: From heaven you pronounced judgment, and the land feared and was quiet--
9: when you, O God, rose up to judge, to save all the afflicted of the land. Selah
10: Surely your wrath against men brings you praise, and the survivors of your wrath are restrained. ^[1]
11: Make vows to the LORD your God and fulfill them; let all the neighboring lands bring gifts to the One to be feared.
12: He breaks the spirit of rulers; he is feared by the kings of the earth.

Psalm 67

1: Psalm 67 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm. A song.
1: May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, Selah
2: that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.
3: May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
4: May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly and guide the nations of the earth. Selah
5: May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
6: Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us.
7: God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

Psalm 13

1: Psalm 13 For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1: How long, O LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2: How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3: Look on me and answer, O LORD my God. Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4: my enemy will say, "I have overcome him," and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5: But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6: I will sing to the LORD, for he has been good to me.

Psalm 4

1: Psalm 4 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A psalm of David.
1: Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
2: How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame ^[1] ? How long will you love delusions and seek false gods ^[2] ? Selah
3: Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for himself; the LORD will hear when I call to him.
4: In your anger do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Selah
5: Offer right sacrifices and trust in the LORD.
6: Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
7: You have filled my heart with greater joy than when their grain and new wine abound.
8: I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 1

1: Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
2: But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3: He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
4: Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5: Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6: For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Psalm 20

1: Psalm 20 For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1: May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2: May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.
3: May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. Selah
4: May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
5: We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests.
6: Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand.
7: Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
8: They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
9: O LORD, save the king! Answer ^[1] us when we call!
