Today's praises: Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed.

Psalm 65

1

Praise eis due to you,1 O God, in Zion,

and to you shall fvows be performed.

  O you who ghear prayer,

to you hshall all flesh come.

  When iiniquities prevail against me,

you jatone for our transgressions.

  kBlessed is the one you choose and bring near,

to ldwell in your courts!

We shall be msatisfied with the goodness of your house,

the holiness of your temple!

  By nawesome deeds you answer us with righteousness,

O God of our salvation,

the hope of all othe ends of the earth

and of the farthest seas;

  the one who by his strength established the mountains,

being pgirded with might;

  who qstills the roaring of the seas,

the roaring of their waves,

rthe tumult of the peoples,

  so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs.

You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.

  You visit the earth and swater it;2

you greatly enrich it;

tthe river of God is full of water;

uyou provide their grain,

for so you have prepared it.

 10  You water its furrows abundantly,

settling its ridges,

softening it with vshowers,

and blessing its growth.

 11  You crown the year with your bounty;

your wagon tracks woverflow with abundance.

 12  xThe pastures of the wilderness overflow,

the hills ygird themselves with joy,

 13  zthe meadows clothe themselves with flocks,

the valleys deck themselves with grain,

they ashout and sing together for joy

Today's prayer: Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy

Psalm 64

 Hear my voice, O God, in my mcomplaint;

preserve my life from dread of the enemy.

  Hide me from nthe secret plots of the wicked,

from the throng of evildoers,

  who owhet their tongues like swords,

who paim bitter words like arrows,

  shooting from qambush at the blameless,

shooting at him suddenly and rwithout fear.

  They shold fast to their evil purpose;

they talk of tlaying snares secretly,

thinking, u“Who can see them?”

  They search out injustice,

saying, “We have accomplished a diligent search.”

For vthe inward mind and heart of a man are deep.

  wBut God shoots his arrow at them;

they are wounded suddenly.

  They are brought to ruin, with their own xtongues turned against them;

all who ysee them will zwag their heads.

  Then all mankind yfears;

they atell what God has brought about

and ponder what he has done.

 10  Let bthe righteous one rejoice in the Lord

and ctake refuge in him!

Let all dthe upright in heart exult

Today's bible teaching: Paul and Silas were chained and yet in the midst of the storm, they were never discouraged. Their faith in God was constant

*PRAYER OF PRAISE*

*Acts 16:25-26 - And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.*

Paul and Silas were chained and yet in the midst of the storm, they were never discouraged. Their faith in God was constant.

Your storm is a temporal process to your breakthrough. Never be discouraged in the midst of your storm. Keep persisting in prayer. Keep faith alive.

These men never doubted God's capabilities. They took their situation as an avenue to pray and praise God. Yes, I may not understand your condition or situation, but know that God is bigger than your present situation. Just an attitude of praise while praying will turn your situation around for good. Never doubt, it is already done.

Even though they were in chains, they still prayed. They prayed and sang praises to God at midnight. Midnight hour is a vital time. It is the hour the forces of darkness normally carry out their evil plans. It is also the hour of battle in the spiritual realms. Stand up and keep watch at midnight. It is time to secure your business, job, destiny and family. Pray and give God thanks at midnight.

Beloved, there is power in prayer of praise. "God dwells in the praises of His people." No matter the bondage, the enemy has kept you, keep praying and don't give up. No matter the present health condition of the world today, healing and deliverance will surely come in Jesus Matchless Name Amen!

*Shalom!*

See How A Nigerian Senator Victor Umeh Transformed The Look Of This Church(Photos)

GRATITUDE IS THE MEMORY OF THE HEART

It all started last two years when a Nigerian priest met Senator Victor Umeh to sponsor his pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Seeing the pictures of where he is working as a missionary, he promised to build church house for them.

The priest said with profound joy and alacrity, the entire Christian community of his parish heartily thank him and his family for the construction of a befitting Church House, an imposing colossus St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Nkimichi, Mamfe diocese, South West Region of Cameroon.

Today's prayer: Please God break the arm of the wicked and evildoer;call his wickedness to account till you find none

Psalm 10

Why Do You Hide Yourself?

10 Why, O Lord, do you stand kfar away?

Why ldo you hide yourself in mtimes of trouble?

  In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor;

let them nbe caught in the schemes that they have devised.

  For the wicked oboasts of the desires of his soul,

and the one greedy for gain pcurses1 and qrenounces the Lord.

  In the pride of his face2 the wicked does not qseek him;3

all his thoughts are, r“There is no God.”

  His ways prosper at all times;

your judgments are on high, sout of his sight;

as for all his foes, he tpuffs at them.

  He usays in his heart, “I shall not be moved;

throughout all generations I vshall not meet adversity.”

  wHis mouth is filled with cursing and xdeceit and yoppression;

zunder his tongue are amischief and biniquity.

  He sits in ambush in the villages;

in chiding places he murders the innocent.

His eyes stealthily watch for the helpless;

  he lurks in ambush like da lion in his ethicket;

he flurks that he may seize the poor;

he seizes the poor when he draws him into his gnet.

 10  The helpless are crushed, sink down,

and fall by his might.

 11  He says in his heart, “God has forgotten,

he has hhidden his face, he iwill never see it.”

 12  jArise, O Lord; O God, klift up your hand;

lforget not the afflicted.

 13  Why does the wicked mrenounce God

and say in his heart, “You will not ncall to account”?

 14  But you do see, for you onote mischief and vexation,

that you may take it into your hands;

to you the helpless pcommits himself;

you have been qthe helper of the fatherless.

 15  rBreak the arm of the wicked and evildoer;

scall his wickedness to account till you find none.

 16  tThe Lord is king forever and ever;

the unations perish from his land.

 17  Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted;

you will vstrengthen their heart; you will incline your ear

 18  to wdo justice to the fatherless and xthe oppressed,

so that yman who is of the earth may strike terror no more.
