Super Eagles wonder kid Samuel Chukwueze visited children and staff at Casa Ronald Charity and presented gifts to them.It was sponsored by 
rocnationsports via 'Kicks for Kids' campaign.
The player was grateful for the very warm welcome accorded to him by the kids and staff.He enjoyed the visit and used the opportunity to put smiles on some faces.

Armed Robbers Dressed In NYSC Uniform Attack Members Of Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club In Kogi,Injure Players And Others(Photos)


Members of Ifeanyi Ubah Football Club were attacked in Kogi State near Lokoja by armed gang dressed in NYSC uniforms. The armed robbers opened fire on seeing their bus, seriously injured the driver and other players.They have been rushed to the hospital.
Ifeanyi Ubah FC is a privately owned football club that's still playing in the Nigeria Premier League.

Former Golden Eaglets Star Chukwunah Nwaoha Down With Liver Disease,Seeks For Help(Photos)



Chukwumah Nwaoha MON was a member of the Under 17 World Cup team member in 1985.The team included Nduka Ugbade,Jonathan Akpoborire,Fatal  Atere and others.
The former Golden Eaglets star has a street named after him at Housing Estate Owerri.He is currently on admission at FMC Umuahia as a result of a liver related sickness that needs urgent surgery.He is battling for his life.
The man who in his hay days brought glory to Nigeria has a short time to live if nothing urgent is done to save his life.He is a native of Mbubo village in Umunna Nsulu Autonomous Community, Isiala-Ngwa North L. G.A, Abia State

Man Commits Suicide In Yenagoa After He Lost His Bet9ja Ticket(Photos)


A middle aged man popularly known as Papa Ebube residing at Arita Lane Area of Yenagoa took his life by hanging in the early hours on Sunday.
According to residents in the area, Papa Ebube may have commited suicide because he lost his Bet9ja ticket that could have earned him thirty six million naira.
Documents found in his possession when the police arrived revealed that the deceased was a graduate,tricycle  rider and great lover of sports whose son is expected to graduate from the Nigerian  military school this year.
Papa Ebube was a jolly good fellow in the neighborhood, had two wives and two children living with him but left when they constantly suffered domestic violence under his watch

Junior Agogo Is Dead: Former Nottingham Forest And Ghana Striker Dies Aged 40



Junior Agogo has died at the age of 40, after the striker passed away in London on Thursday morning (August 22).
Former Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday striker Junior Agogo has died at the age of 40.
Agogo, who most recently played for Hibernian in 2012, had a stroke in 2015, although the exact cause of death hasn't been confirmed.
The striker was a Ghanaian star after his performances in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2008.
He scored 12 goals in 27 appearances for the national side, while also scoring 20 goals for Forest between 2006 and 2008.
Agent Saif Rubie tweeted: “Just heard the news that one of my first clients ever Junior Agogo has passed away.
“Still can't believe it. One of my proudest moments in football is seeing him smash the AFCON in Ghana.”
Agogo had a devastating stroke in 2015, and revealed he was "in a bad way" after the incident.
Speaking after his stroke, Agogo told the BBC: “I was running with my dog. I was coming back home. I was near the Marriott Hotel and the stroke happened.
“When I woke up I was in hospital with my mum. I couldn’t speak. I was in a bad way.
“I had thoughts, but I was like where is my voice. I was baffled, man.”
Agogo had a terrific career spanning 15 years in the game, and played for 15 teams in total.
He started his career in 1997 at Sheffield Wednesday, where he played twice in three years.
During that time he was sent out on loan to Oldham Athletic, Chester City, Chesterfield, and Lincoln City.
In 2000, he signed for MLS team Chicago Fire, before quickly moving on to the Colorado Rapids. He made 32 appearances for the Rapids, scoring 11 goals.
A year later and Agogo moved to the San Jose Earthquakes, where he scored four goals in 14 appearances.
It was in the year 2002 that he moved back to the UK, and signed a deal with Queens Park Rangers.
He stayed in West London for a single season, before heading across town to Barnet, where he also stayed for a year.
Agogo made the trip west to Bristol Rovers, and made 126 appearances for them.
He stayed at Rovers for three years, before moving to Forest, where he featured 64 times.

Legendary Kanu Nwankwo and Atlanta '96 Olympic Gold medalist who was recently appointed Senior Special Assistant on Sports to Imo State Governor, Hon Emeka Ihedioha has resumed work with a visit to the training ground of Heartland FC, a club he once played for in the early days of his career.
Papilo since appointment has shown his readiness to offer wonderful assistant towards rejuvenating the sports sector in line with the 'Rebuild Imo' mantra of Ihedioha's administration
