Today's bible teaching: Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever

*LIFE TONIC*

*1 Chronicles 16:34 -*
*"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!"*

Everything good in your life comes from God. We will grow closer to God when we understand this truth and build our lives around it. When you see something good in your life, point it out. Thank God for it.

Thanksgiving is a superpower. It enables us to see past our experiences and embrace how God is moving. Thanksgiving is one of the spices of prayer. Thanksgiving pleases God and as well prompt Him to do more things for us.

With a thankful heart, we can kickstart the year. Our God is good to us no matter the hard times of the past year. His love for us stands forever.
"If you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness. It will change your life mightily." - *Gerald Good*

Beloved, It is time to give thanks to God. Continuous thanksgiving open more doors of success. With your thankful heart, the Lord will uphold you and do that which only Him can do in your life.

You can shout it loud... *"I'm thankful Oh Lord.*

*Shalom!*
*Happy New Year*

Today's bible teaching: When the Lord restores his people,let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

Psalm 14

For the director of music. Of David.

The fool[a] says in his heart,
    “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
    there is no one who does good.

The Lord looks down from heaven
    on all mankind
to see if there are any who understand,
    any who seek God.
All have turned away, all have become corrupt;
    there is no one who does good,
    not even one.

Do all these evildoers know nothing?

They devour my people as though eating bread;
    they never call on the Lord.
But there they are, overwhelmed with dread,
    for God is present in the company of the righteous.
You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
    but the Lord is their refuge.

Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
    When the Lord restores his people,
    let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad!

Today's bible teaching: Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you

*LIFE TONIC*

*Luke 6:38 -*
*Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.*

Everything Jesus says rests in the character of God. When Jesus said, "it will be given to you," He based that promise on the truth of who God is. He is generous and benevolent God who loves to give good things to His children.

Because it is in His nature to give, He will always give more to us than we will give to Him. God will make you rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion. When you give, God gives back to you. God uses the same measure you use. If you are stingy, God will be stingy in return! If you are generous, God will be generous in return!

Beloved, you can't out-give God. God will be no one's debtor. May you be increased and blessed as you give generously to the needy and to God's work this season in Jesus Matchless Name... Amen.

Today's bible teaching: The Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.

Psalm 87

Of the Sons of Korah. A psalm. A song.

He has founded his city on the holy mountain.
The Lord loves the gates of Zion
    more than all the other dwellings of Jacob.

Glorious things are said of you,
    city of God:
“I will record Rahab and Babylon
    among those who acknowledge me—
Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush—
    and will say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”
Indeed, of Zion it will be said,
    “This one and that one were born in her,
    and the Most High himself will establish her.”
The Lord will write in the register of the peoples:
    “This one was born in Zion.”

As they make music they will sing,
    “All my fountains are in you.”

Today's prayer: Look on me and answer, Lord my God.Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death

Psalm 13

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
    How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
    and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
    How long will my enemy triumph over me?

Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
    Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
    and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

But I trust in your unfailing love;
    my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
    for he has been good to me.

Today's praises: You turned my wailing into dancing;you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.

Psalm 30

A psalm. A song. For the dedication of the temple. Of David.

I will exalt you, Lord,
    for you lifted me out of the depths
    and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
Lord my God, I called to you for help,
    and you healed me.
You, Lord, brought me up from the realm of the dead;
    you spared me from going down to the pit.

Sing the praises of the Lord, you his faithful people;
    praise his holy name.
For his anger lasts only a moment,
    but his favor lasts a lifetime;
weeping may stay for the night,
    but rejoicing comes in the morning.

When I felt secure, I said,
    “I will never be shaken.”
Lord, when you favored me,
    you made my royal mountain[c] stand firm;
but when you hid your face,
    I was dismayed.

To you, Lord, I called;
    to the Lord I cried for mercy:
“What is gained if I am silenced,
    if I go down to the pit?
Will the dust praise you?
    Will it proclaim your faithfulness?
10 Hear, Lord, and be merciful to me;
    Lord, be my help.”

11 You turned my wailing into dancing;
    you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
12 that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent.
    Lord my God, I will praise you forever.
