Fix Igbara Odo- Ekiti Damaged Water Pipes Before End Of The Week, Governor Fayose Directs Ekiti State Water Corporation Managing Director.
The Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose today directed the managing director of the State Water Corporation, Mrs. Bosede Ojo to fix the damaged pipes that supply water in Igbara Odo Ekiti and its environs before the end of the week to ensure easy flowing of potable water.
Governor Fayose made the directive while switching on water supply in the town. He said further that he decided to tackle the water challenge of the state in line with his approach to issues concerning the critical sectors of Ekiti State's economy in terms of ensuring standard infrastructure.
Governor Fayose said that his vision was to ensure that the impact of good governance was felt by every citizen, communities and villages in the state, maintaining that every necessary infrastructure meant to serve the people of the state must be fixed.
Governor Fayose at the occassion applauded the loyalty and faithfulness of Hon. Segun Adekola, Chairman House of Representatives Committee on youth development who happens to be a native of the town. He also thanked the people of Igbara Odo-Ekiti for the support they have been given him and his government, promising to address other challenges facing the town, particularly electricity.
