In what could be best described as a drastic action against the defamation of character of its client Miss Opemititi Ajayi (pictured), Afolabi Fashanu & Co has written Linda Ikeji over the alleged frivolous and malicious publication made by her.
Mercy Aigbe’s former friend Opemititi Ajayi slammed Linda Ikeji with a N500Million law suit for alleging she slept with Lanre Gentry and destroyed the actress' marriage. According to the letter prepared by her attorneys, the 500Million is to ‘repair’ the damages caused by the defamatory publications made by LIB.
Linda Ikeji exclusively broke the news on her blog that Opemititi A.k.a queen stunner was responsible for Mercy Aigbe’s failed marriage, thereby dragging her name in the mud without any backing evidence; an act of crime as codified in the cyber crime laws of Nigeria.
Opemititi’s lawyers have requested for a retraction and public apologies from Linda Ikeji, in the media, including their social platforms, and also demanded a total sum of N500m from her as damages.
