The family you see in this picture used to live in the shack (or what is left of it) on the floor. They are a family of 8, their living condition can be hard to imagine. Their story is similar to more than 30 other families that have benefited from Vicar Hope Foundation (VHF) shelter intervention scheme for the indigent and widows. Vicar Hope Foundation is a not-for-profit organization founded by the wife of the Executive Governor of Abia State Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu.

The benefiting family were so happy as they also received bags of rice, gallon of groundnut oil including other food items, cash and wrappa.
