The Beijing Enterprises teammates of late Ivory Coast midfielder Cheick Tiote have paid him final respect.Many of them were pictured in sober moods during the homage as they stood around a coffin draped in the flag of the Ivory Coast with their heads bowed in respect, before his body was flown back to the African country.
Also family and friends(ex-teammates) openly wept at the emotional service for the father of three, who played over 100 games in the Premier League for the Toon before moving to Asia.
It should be recalled that Cheick Tiote collapsed and died while training with his teammates at his club in China.
