The Portuguese star scored a 70th-minute penalty in the Turin derby to reach the milestone but earned a caution for a bump on Torino's goalkeeper.

Cristiano Ronaldo netted Juventus' 5000th all-time Serie A goal by scoring a penalty against Torino on Saturday, and earned himself a yellow card in the process.

The Bianconeri became the first Serie A side to reach the milestone when the Portugal star scored from the spot in the 70th minute of a scoreless Turin derby.

It was a chance that came about after a poor Simone Zaza back-pass was intercepted by Mario Mandzukic, who was then brought down by Torino goalkeeper Salvador Ichazo.

After the goal, which Ichazo nearly stopped, Ronaldo ran directly to the Uruguayan and bumped into him, earning a yellow card for the unnecessary contact.
