Nnenna Nwabueze-Okonta changed the face of the Nigerian movie industry after her role as 'Merit' in 1992 classic, Living in Bondage. That name would go on to take over her real name, as her performance in that best selling film refused to leave the minds of many.
Later, she got married and disappeared from the spotlight, nothing was heard of her until Vanguard Newspapers caught up with her on the set of another Igbo movie where she talked about why she chose to stay away for so long, and why she had chosen to return after two decades.
Well, the UNIPORT graduate is currently shooting a new season of Happy Family with ageless amazon Liz Benson, and they both look absolutely amazing!
