Meet The 5 Filthy Rich Nigerians Who Made Forbes’ List Of World Billionaires(Photos)

On Forbes 2015 list of World Billionaires, Bill Gates tops as the world's richest billionaire with an estimated fortune of $79.2bn. Five Nigerians were 0n the list of the richest people in the world today and here they are:

1. Aliko Dangote

Our very own business mogul, Alhaji Aliko Dangote led the 5 richest Nigerians to make the list and he peaked at number 67. His current net worth has been placed at $14.7 billion despite losing a large sum out of wealth due to Nigeria's unstable economy and the downward plunge of oil prices in the country. Dangote was formerly 23rd in the world before all the crisis started to happen.

2. Mike Adenuga

The second Nigerian who featured on the list is Mike Adenuga who came in at 393 with a net worth of $4.2 Billion. He is the business guru behind Globacom Nigeria, a huge telecommunications company and he also owns shares in ConOil and Equitorial Trust Bank.

3. Folorunsho Alakija

Folorunsho Alakija is apparently the 3rd richest person in Nigeria coming in at 941 with $2 billion. She is currently the richest Black woman and the richest woman in Africa. She is the group managing director of The Rose of Sharon Group which consists of The Rose of Sharon Prints & Promotions Limited and Digital Reality Prints Limited and the executive vice-chairman of Famfa Oil Limited.

4. Femi Otedola

Femi Otedola is placed at 1741 with $1 Billion. Femi is the CEO of Forte Oil and an oil magnate. His daughter is a celebrity DJ known as DJ Cuppy who is currently interning at international rap star, Jay Z's Roc Nation recording company.

5. Abdulsalmad Rabiu

Abdulsalmad Rabiu came in as the 5th richest Nigerian at 1741 on the Forbes world list with $1 Billion as well. Not as popular as the other top 4, Rabiu runs the BUA Group with diverse interests in flour milling, pasta manufacturing, ports and terminals management and sugar refining according to Forbes.
