Nigeria has signed oil and gas infrastructure agreements worth $80bn (£60m) with Chinese companies. This was revealed by Minister of State, Petroleum Resources and Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Ibe Kachikwu, who has been in China since Sunday.
Dr. Ibe Kachikwu also led his team to successfully sign a potential deal for $40 billion of investment with Cinda.

Nigeria is one of Africa's largest oil producers and oil is its main export earner, but it imports 80% of its fuel and its four refineries have never reached full production because of poor maintenance.
