Borno Governor hands over 64 women & children rescued from Boko Haram to their families after 9 months of deradicalization(Photos)

Borno State Deputy Gov HE Hon Usman Durkwa on behalf of Borno State Governor HE Gov Kashim Shettima handed over 64 women & children rescued from Boko Haram to their families after undergoing 9 months of deradicalization by Borno State Govt & International NGOs.

During the deradicalization, 7 women gave birth to new born babies.They were impregnated by Boko Haram members.They benefitted from monthly cash transfer from ICRC,food items & non food items from SEMA & other NGOs.
