Edo Governo Edo Governor-elect Wife, Betsy Obaseki thanks Edo people over electoral victory
The wife of the Governor-elect in the september 28th, Edo Gubernatorial election, Mrs Betsy Obaseki has said she feel very appreciative and thankful to God and Edo people.
Mrs. Betsy who made this statement in a live tele-cast when she visited Christ Embassy to join other millions of Nigerians to celebrate Nigeria's 56th Independence said, "she has no doubt that Nigeria will be a great country regardless of what she was going through at the moment".
She, however, urge Nigerians to continue to support and pray for Nigeria, adding that she was convinced that "where God is taking this our beloved country to, through the efforts of President Muhammadu Buhari will be greater than where it is presently.
"Spreading the good news of God is most important to me. Myself and my husband will continue to support this project. This words will go round the whole world. I pray God continue to strengthen Pastor Chris and the church for the great work they have being doing".
She also reiterated her avowed commitment to every good thing that concerns God noting that she is privileged to be involved in God's work.
Her words, "God has saved our country and I want to reassure you that we will come out of this doldrums. This country is going to great places with the Lord", she said.
The head of the church, Pastor Moses Olayemi however congratulated Mrs Betsy Obaseki for her husband's victory at the just concluded election reassuring her that God will continue to grant her husband the needed wisdom and the knowledge to lead Edo state successfully.
