Kogi state Governor,Alh Yahaya Bello has frowned at the action of kogi state House of Assembly for suspending five Local Government administrators
The Governor who spoke through his Chief press secretary, Mrs petra Akinti Oyagbule,said the Governor was not brief of the development, therefore,blamed the assembly for taking such" decision without considering the interest of the state,and the harmonious relationship that exist between the legislative and the executive arm "
The statement therefore,directed the five chief administrators to remain in their offices.
It could be recalled that a member representing Igala mela/ odolu state constituency, Hon Friday Sani raised a matter of urgent public importance
In the motion,the law maker explained that "the decision of the House to ask questions on the administration of Local Government Areas in the State is not out of place".
He explained further that the five Local Government Administrators are; "perpetually in Lokoja instead of performing their primary responsibility.
The affected administrators he said include: Igalamela, Ogori, Ijumu, Kabba bunu and Okehi respectively.
Hon Sani who is the chairman appropriation committee, explains that the administrators spent the council money without appropriation.
After a long deliberation by the house,the five administrators were suspended.
Those suspended are;
Hon. Baron Okwoli of Igalamela.
Hon Moses Akande of Ogori Magongo.
Hon. Taofik Isah of Ijumu.
Hon Mose Olaruleke of Kabba / Bunu.
Hon. Abdulraheem Ohiare of Okehi.
