FEC Orders FG To Make Whole Body Scanners Available At Nigeria Entry Ports

NIGERIA: In a bid to keep Ebola spread at check, the Federal Executive Council(FEC) has urged the Federal Government(FG) to make whole body scanners available at entry ports into Nigeria.

  FEC reached the decision during an Emergency Council on Health meeting held yesterday in Abuja.The decision was taken to control Ebola spread in the country.


 FEC also supported the ban imposed on the movement of corpses across the states except the ones approved by the health ministry and also suggeated that corpses of Ebola patients must be buried according to WHO's directives.FEC also advocated for the establishment of isolation tents that will take care of at least 20 people.
