After 10-yrs of his demise,Nollywood star Okey Bakassi remembers late father in a special way.
He wrote:
25th July is a day of mixed feelings for my family. It was 10yrs yesterday, my beloved Dad left us to be with his maker. He chose to take a bow on the birthday of his first grand child, Chidera.
Daddy, Chidera turned 13 yesterday and we celebrated because that's what you would have wanted. I love you daddy and we still miss you so much.
Good Dad's don't die....they go to Heaven. You were a great #father and a #goodman. My beloved Dad, you gave your genes, blood and sweat to raise me; from the child that God gave you to the Man that I've become.
Daddy, you had little but you gave your best to your family, country and everyone that crossed your path.
My mentor, friend and soldier. You taught me patience, humility, respect and faith in God. You left us 10yrs ago with beautiful memories.
We miss your trademark smile, humour, kindness, love,etc.....
I wish you were still around.....continue to rest in God's presence.
