This was disclosed by FC Tokyo's president who said Chelsea spotted the 22-yr old player on May last year and made a €5.5 approach in March. Speaking on Chelsea's interest for the player,Tokyo chief Naoki Ogane said: "It is true that Chelsea sent us an offer for Muto." "It is a formal offer with conditions. Zinedine Zidane has heaped praises on Real Madrid and Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo following his zeal to always try to improve as a better player despite his mesmerizing form.
  According to the World Cup winner and former World Footballer of the year,Ronaldo's form is pivotal for Real Madrid's success.Zidane said he is 100% impressed with Ronaldo because he continues to improve everyday despite his past records and laurels.
  Speaking with UEFA website,Zidane said:
"It's his relentless desire to make progress that surprises me. At the same time, I'm not surprised."
"The great thing for me is that he always wants to make progress. Even if he wins trophies and scores a lot of goals every season, his aim is always to make progress.
"He always wants to show, even in training, that he wants to win. It's incredible. That's what makes him stay at the top – it's his ambition to be the best."
  Ronaldo has scored 36goals in 26 La Liga games this season,4 ahead of Lionel Messi of Barcelona and he is on course to clinch another European Golden Shoe.
