At least 60 people were killed yesterday in a multiple bomb blast that struck the northeast Nigerian city of Maiduguri.
The attacks were carried out by Boko Haram insurgents who targeted the Ajilari Cross evening market area and neighbouring Gomari. Worshippers at a nearby mosque and football fans watching a televised match were affected.
May their souls rest in peace.
