Surgeon Li Xin found he couldn’t move his neck more than four hours into an operation on Wednesday afternoon, in Chenzhou Children’s Hospital, central China’s Hunan Province.
As he had not finished the operation, he decided to take an emergency anesthesia therapy injection in the room as he was working. The operation lasted for 9 hours, and Li went for a full examination after it was all finished.
