Commonwealth Games Federation Strips 16yr Old Chika Amalaha Her Gold Medal For Failing A Drug Test

After failing a drug test,the Commonwealth Games Federation has been stripped 16 year old Nigerian weightlifter Chika Amalaha of her gold medal.

  She became the youngest ever female to win the 53-kilogram division weightlift.Few days after winning the trophy last week,she tested positive for diuretics and masking agents.

  It was announced yesterday by Commonwealth Games Federatiion that her B sample also tested positive for amiloride and hydrochlorothiazide, both of which are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency.


  However,however she gained access to the substances is yet unknown.Commonwealth Games Federation said it will look into the possible access to the substances.
