Speaker Yakubu Dogara celebrated his 50th birthday in style today at International Conference Center, Abuja.The celebration started with a thanksgiving service at Living Faith Church, Goshen City.He proceeded to the Treasure Orphanage Foundation, Karu and the Abuja Children's Home where he celebrated with the children and donated various items to them.
A book about his biography was written by Dele Momodu and reviewed by Reuben Abati.The book contains stories of Yakubu Dogara 's resolve & confidence in his own abilities & Nigeria's political dynamics.The proceeds from the book launch will be given to IDPs & the less privileged.
In attendance were VP Osinbajo,SP Saraki,Dino Melaye,Governor Mohammed A. Abubakar and others.
