Photos: Kano Sharia police destroy thousands of bottles of beer
The Kano State Hisbah Board destroyed bottles of beer it confiscated from members of the public. The photos were posted on the Board's official Facebook page on October 12th.
Me: Kano state is among the states in Nigeria that receives VAT made from the sale of alcoholic drinks monthly from Abuja but this is what their Hisbah police are doing.
To make matters worse, Kano is a one of the states smuggled overnight into the North East Development Commision and they will be entitled to 3 percent VAT, made from the sale of beer.
I wrote yesterday that Nigeria is a fraud and this story validates that point.
